BOC South Pacific introduced what it calls the "most powerful" MIG MAG machine, nicknamed "The Beast".

The Smootharc Advance II MIG 555R is the first product in the Gas and Welding Company's improved Smootharc welding series. It complies with AS/NZS 60974-1 and IEC/EN 60974-10 and comes with a three-year conditional warranty.

"The beast is the real workhorse-the largest in our Smootharc series. Tony Newnham, head of BOC welding business, said: "It is versatile, rugged and easy to operate-with an inverter-based power supply that provides Empty ratio for best results. "

"Its size is very good value for money, providing economical upgrade options from standard air-cooled welders to water-cooled welders to increase productivity and longer welding time."

"It is designed to withstand the harshest environmental conditions and is installed in a steel enclosure with large wheels for easy operation around the workshop or construction site."

Bank of China stated that it will release more products this year (2021).

"We look forward to unveiling the new Smootharc product in 2021-and encourage manufacturers to contact our technical welding experts for advice on the best products and shielding gases to improve productivity and safety," Newna Mu said.

The British-based natural gas giant BOC has proven its dedication to the development and guidance of chemical engineers after receiving the Bronze Corporate Partner Award from the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

Joining Technologies, based in Connecticut, has expanded its precision joining services to resistance welding.

The natural gas and engineering company BOC (a subsidiary of Linde Corporation) has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with waste facilities Avertas Energy and Shell Energy.
